Couple: Kat & Chris
Venue: High House Farm Brewery
Date: 14th JULY 2018
Kat & Chris are a super cool couple who had a super stylish outdoor wedding at High House Farm Brewery in Matfen, Northumberland. They came to me early on in their planning as they were looking for a wedding florist and also needed help with the overall venue styling. We talked about what they wanted for their day which needed to include wildflowers to reflect the countryside location I also needed to include a black and white polka dot to tie in with the bridesmaids dresses. There was a heavy influence from their love of music too so I knew we needed to go for an edgy look rather than anything twee.
I created a loose, textured bridal bouquet for Kat using seasonal british flowers and lots of foliage along with a flower crown to match.
The bridesmaids wore their flowers as a wrist corsage and everything was bound with black and white polka dot ribbon.
I made rustic button holes for Chris and his groomsmen.
For the overall venue styling we used floral fabrics, and rustic materials to enhance the barn wedding on a farm vibe and threw in personal touches to reflect the personality of the couple using records as table numbers.
What a fabulous wedding for a couple with serious style.

I absolutely loved working on this wedding, High House Farm Brewery is stunning venue in the heart of Northumberland with an incredible listed barn which is licensed for ceremonies. It’s a dream to dress and cries out for bunting or paper lanterns to be hung from the rafters.
